tibetan singing bowls massage: sound healing
align, heal and transform
Anne’s motivation in incorporating Sound Healing to her practice was to connect deeper with the essence of vitality and transformation in a person. She experiences it as an internal shower, clearing and refreshing.
Anne’ Shiatsu teacher said, “fluids in the body are closely connected with our emotions and Spirit”. Our body is mostly made of fluids. Water is Life, fluids have a close relationship to our nervous system’s health on a cellular level.
Just like water links and transforms vital elements in our being, Vibration seems to be able to both smoothen and boost one’s journey to wellness. The Tibetan singing bowls produce pure sounds and can lead one into a deep state of surrendering, to experience bliss and gratitude.
Anne trained with Chaitanyashree Nepal in 2014 and with Cesar Tejedor founder of Vibrational Healing Massagearoundtheworld in 2017. Anne also underwent 200 hours certifying yoga teacher training with Hatha Yoga Paramgati in 2018.
Anne combines the Singing bowls and other instruments with her experience in Hatha Yoga, Traditional Oriental Medicine and Massages.
During a session, after a holistic health assessment, an intention setting, the Tibetan singing bowls are placed on different parts of the body while being chimed. Other bowls might also be used surrounding the body to create varying notes and vibrations.
How does it work?
During our waking state, the normal frequency of our brain waves is that of Beta. Sound tools entrain the brain to move into the deeper Alpha and Theta brain wave frequencies. These are the frequencies that induce deep meditative and peaceful states, clarity of mind and intuition.
Modern medicine can now measure and thus confirm the practice of sound to promote healing. Thus, sound is a type of energy medicine that creates a sacred space in which people can align, heal and transform
